CTS Doctor of Philosophy (72 credits)
PhD students take same required Core curriculum and Group A, B, C curriculum as MS, in addition to additional Research Area Electives. They also substitute Dissertation for Thesis and take a minimum of 4 credits of Seminar.
CTS Certificate (13 Credits)
Certificate students are required to take Biostatistics I (BIOS 5013) and 4 credit hours of research (IBSD 5101). They also need 6 credit hours of electives.
-For the Hematology/Oncology Emphasis, the electives should be: Special Topics in IBS-Cancer Biology (IBSD 6101-Section 003); and Special Topics in IBS-Grant Writing and Cancer Research Project Design (IBSD 6101-Section 006).
-For the Pediatric Emphasis, the electives should be: Special Topics in IBS-Longitudinal Pediatric Curriculum (IBSD 6101-Section 002); and Special Topics in IBS-Quality Improvement (IBSD 6101-Section 005).
