Career Day for Biomedical Sciences – October 9, 2019
This event is designed to inform graduate and undergraduate students about the variety of science career options available. Speakers will discuss the job description, advantages, disadvantages, salaries, and opportunities for advancement within each career track. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with time for Q&A and discussion with speakers and participants. Undergraduate students and faculty will also be provided information on various UAMS Graduate School programs (M.S. and Ph.D. programs), as well as the opportunity to meet with representatives and graduate students from programs. Additionally, a short presentation will be given about summer undergraduate research opportunities at UAMS and the Graduate School.
